Jamorama Guitar Review What's in it ... What isn't Is it Your best Choice?
I've read a lot of hype about the popular guitar lessons Jamorama. I bought the Jamorama course so I could give an honest Jamorama guitar review. The GoodAs far as beginner courses go it's good value for the $49.95 price. The lessons go from beginner to intermediate, they have some neccesary and useful tools included, the jam tracks are good, the videos are simple, clear, and show no more than is necessary to complement the written lessons. I love the "Guitearit" bonus software which develops chord recognition by ear. I use it everyday and it's simple and fun. The Jamorama guitar lessons include:
- Instant Download ... Start Playing Right Away
- Beginner to Advanced Lessons eBook
- Beginner to Advanced Video Lessons
- Beginner to Advanced Jam Tracks
- Guitar Forum
- Jamorama Chord eBook
- Chord-Riff Video Sessions
- Chordinator Game (PC/MAC)
- How to Tune your Guitar eBook
- Acoustic Focus Lessons eBook
- Acoustic Video Exercises
- Acoustic JamTracks Books 1 and 2
- Quality Software and Tools Including:
- JaydeMusica Pro
- GuitEarit ... I use and enjoy it, it works
- GuitarTuner Pro
- Jamorama Metronome
There is also a deluxe edition available that includes the Jamorama Lead Guitar eBook, Jamorama Lead Video Lessons, Lead JamTracks, Lead Licks JamTracks, Guitar Lick Videos and a one month subscription to "Songpond" video song lessons. The Not So Good Part of the Jamorama Guitar ReviewYou've got to know that for $49.95 it's not going to be perfect. You have to be at the computer to use it, unless you print out the PDF, or buy the physical version which includes lesson books, DVDs and CDs. It took a while to download the large zipped file and install the software, that is included in one of the other zipped files inside the first one. There is a lot of stuff here, and that makes it a bit difficult to navigate between the PDF, videos, and jam tracks. There is also a mistake right off with their guitar tabs: they state that when there is an X on the line, you don't play that string. Actually an X means that string is muted. This makes the tabs clunkier to read than need be. Summing Up the Jamorama Guitar ReviewIs it worth the price? It's the best internet course I've found up till now for it's price(you wouldn't believe some of the junk there is that costs the same or more). I would say that Jamorama is accurately priced for a large guitar lesson course that'll probably take a year to complete, and they do have a 60 day money back guarantee ... just in case. Oh! I almost forget to mention that you can get some free beginner lessons by email to check it out if you are unsure. Learn and Master Guitar is a much better product, but it does cost 3 to 4 times the price depending on whether it's on sale or not.
